The Russian business is interested in broad cooperation with British companies and the similar signals were coming from the British entrepreneurs, said Sergey Katyrin, the President of the CCI of Russia on the opening of “RussiaTALK” investment forum.
The 14th annual Russian-British investment forum organized by the Russian-British Chamber of Commerce together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation took place at the CCI of Russia on Ilyinka Street.
The 100th anniversary of the Russian-British Chamber of Commerce was celebrated last year and this year we were celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Russian Institute of Chambers of Commerce and Industry said Sergey Katyrin in his speech. There was a certain symbolism he said: in the complex of Russian-British relations the commercial part had always occupied a special place.
With a greeting in Russian, the patron of the RBCC, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, addressed the forum participants. He noted that the RBCC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia had done a lot for the development of mutual relations. The crisis brought not only changes he said but also opened new opportunities between the two countries and the forum "RussiaTALK" became an authoritative event. The relations between our countries hadn’t been easy recent years. But one must be able to learn from the past and go forward. According to the RBCC patron, the changes in Britain and Russia will contribute to the development of cooperation between his country and the Russian Federation.
