The CCI RF Department for work with foreign legal entities and their representative offices provides assistance in obtaining invitations for entry into the Russian Federation at the request of representative offices of foreign companies that obtained the CCI RF permission to open representative offices in Russia.
The representative office guarantees the material, medical, housing support, provides money needed for the departure of the invited person after his term of stay expires, as well as bears responsibility for the observance of the laws of the Russian Federation by the person during his stay in Russia, and in the event of his deportation assumes all the related expenses. Under the Russian legislation, the receiving party (representative office of a foreign company) must submit documents for migration registration within seven working days from the date of the foreign citizen’s arrival.
Ordinary business visa by invitation is issued for a foreign citizen entering the RF on business. An ordinary business visa can be single or multiple for a term of up to three months, or multiple for a term of up to one year. The total time of stay under the multiple business visa cannot exceed 90 days during each period of 180 days.
The passport validity should not expire earlier than in six months from the date of business visa expiry.
Ordinary working visa by invitation is issued for a foreign citizen entering the RF for the purpose of labor activity at the representative office (purpose of the visit – FOREIGN EMPLOYEE, as well as for his family members – wife/children under 18 (purpose of the visit – ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBER). Initially, a single working visa for a term of up to three months is issued.
For the working visa the passport should not expire earlier than in 1.5 years from the visa validity start date.
