Russian-Hungarian business ties had not exhausted their potentials

On July 5th the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Padalko met with Honorary Chairman of the Committee for Hungarian-Russian Relations of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Imre Tóth and vice-president of the Committee Mr. Laszlo Horvath.

Hungarian guests came to Moscow to participate in the 10th session of the Russian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

Mr. Vladimir Padalko underlined that the CCI of Russia and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce had long-standing partnership relations and close cooperation. Around 13 regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry signed the Agreement on cooperation with regional Chambers of Hungary or the Hungarian-Russian Committee of the HCCI and 6 business- missions took place in different regions of Russia and Hungary in the year 2016.

Mr. Imre Tóth highly appreciated the level of development of Russian-Hungarian business cooperation and said that about 600 Hungarian companies worked on the Russian market. More than 250 firms listed as members of the Hungarian-Russian Committee of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Laszlo Horvath reported on the work of his company "Polyus" which was constructing a specialized medical center for positron emission tomography "Center for Molecular Imaging" in Novosibirsk.

The parties agreed that the potential for developing bilateral business ties was far from exhausted.

In this regard, the meeting participants agreed on the exchange of information on commercial projects and opportunities for cooperation between entrepreneurs of both countries.
