Russia may become the venue for the Congress of the World Chambers Federation in 2023

Mr. Sergey Katyrin, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation met with Russian Ambassador to Australia Mr. Grigory Logvinov and Consul General in Sydney Mr. Sergei Shipilov within the framework of participation in the X Congress of the World Chambers Federation.

Mr. Sergey Katyrin spoke about the possibilities of the Russian Chamber’s system and their role in boosting foreign economic activity. After the introductory speech the Russian delegation met with Australian businessmen.

The Russian delegation also met with Mr. Jemal Inaishvili, President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) and Mr. Peter Mihok , the Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) World Chambers Federation. The leaders of the CACCI and ICC noted the high level of representation of the CCI of Russia at the Sydney forums and expressed their gratitude to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for supporting their activities.

At the meeting, Mr. Migok stated that the World Chambers Federation would be happy to see Russia as the country where the World Chambers Congress 2023 will be held.
