Investments in human capital are the key to the development of Russian-Kazakh business ties

The meeting of the Russian-Kazakhstan Business Council within the framework of the XIV Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan with the participation of the heads of state was held on the theme "The role of business in the development of human capital".

Vladimir Padalko, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, made a welcoming speech to the participants. In his speech he noted that the development of human capital is inseparably linked with competitiveness and sustainable business development.

The participants of the Business Council meeting including the representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, public authorities and businessmen of the two countries accepted with interest the subject of the event.

Sergey Smolnikov, the Minister of Economic Development of the Chelyabinsk Region; Anatoly Kosykh, the Rector of the Omsk State Technical University; Anna Shabarova , the Vice- President for Personnel Policy and Social Responsibility of the Russian Copper Company JSC; and Sergey Ermakov, the General Director of Santechural LLC made presentations on the topic.

At the end of the business program, members of the Russian-Kazakh Business Council visited the Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant.
