Further development of entrepreneurial activity between Russia and Croatia should take place at the regional level, said Sergei Katyrin at the Russian-Croatian Economic Forum held in the International Trade Center.
About three hundred businessmen from the different Russian regions and a solid Croatian business delegation stated a great wish of the parties to intensify their relationships. The participation of the President of the Republic of Croatia in the forum should be regarded as an important positive sign to the business communities of the two countries, Sergei Katyrin underlined.
The President of the Republic of Croatia, Colinda Grabar-Kitarovich, addressed the forum participants. Between Russia and Croatia for a quarter century of establishing diplomatic relations, mutual ties have significantly strengthened. The trade turnover, investments, interaction in power engineering, machine-building, IT-sphere and tourism have grown. Our countries could count on a promising future, the Croatian President said.
The Head of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce Luka Burilovic, Russian Ambassador in Croatia Anwar Azimov, Croatian Ambassador to Russia Tonci Stanicic, Emergency Minister Vladimir Puchkov - the chairman of the Russian part of the Russian-Croatian intergovernmental commission for trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation talked about various aspects of economic interaction between the two countries.
Further, there were presentations of companies and business negotiations between Croatian and Russian companies.
