On April 1, a joint breakfast of the BRICS Business Council and the New Development Bank was held in New Delhi, India. Russian representatives of the BRICS Business Council took part in this event.
Vladimir Dmitriev, Vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, who headed the Russian delegation in India at the events of the BRICS Business Council, spoke at the breakfast with Russian proposals on priority areas of cooperation between the BRICS BC and the New Development Bank.
The representatives of the NDB noted that the priority areas are infrastructure projects and projects aimed at sustainable economic development of the BRICS countries.
As a result of the business breakfast, the parties agreed to sign cooperation agreements between the BRICS Business Council and the New Development Bank. The signing would take place at the 9th BRICS Summit in Xiamen, China from 4 to 5 September 2017.
