The global economic development is possible only in conditions of free trade with the participation of leading Asian economies said the President of CCI of Russia Sergei Katyrin. He stated this on the sidelines of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) where he headed Chamber’s delegation. The Russian government and business delegates were active participants at forum’s venues.
Sergey Katyrin took part in the Board of Directors meeting where the BFA Initiative for Deepening Economic Globalization was adopted. He also participated in the meeting with the Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli of the Chinese State Council.
According to Sergey Katyrin the Russian business is interested in further development of relations with Asian countries. Russian entrepreneurs consider the Boao Forum for Asia as an excellent platform for discussing the key issues of the development of the Asia-Pacific region. The forum acquires special significance in the context of the implementation of major investment projects in the Russian Far Eastern region and Eastern Siberia.
